5-MeO-pyr-T is a synthetic hallucinogenic chemical linked to the known psychoactive DMT (Dimethyltryptamine). It is generated by adding a 5-methoxy group to the molecular structure of pyr-T. This alteration is considered to be responsible for 5-MeO-pyr-T's properties.

Despite its relative rarity, 5-MeO-pyr-T has gained popularity in the underground drug culture and is now regarded as a potentially harmful chemical.
Effects of 5-MeO-pyr-T
The effects of 5-MeO-pyr-T are described as powerful and unexpected, with users reporting various responses. Among the most frequently reported side effects of 5-MeO-pyr-T are:
